Veteran Leadership Award

Launching in 2023, this award recognizes a company that has shown leadership in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of veterans. Entries will be evaluated on demonstrated innovation, progress, and accomplishments in their ability to attract, retain, and support the professional development of veterans. The company should demonstrate their commitment to veterans, creating and ensuring a supportive veteran-focused environment, through actions and demonstrated successes. Thoughtful, impactful, and intentional strategic initiatives focused on increasing the number of veterans hired and retained by the company should be evident. The company should have increased the number of veterans hired and retained by the company.  

Entries will be evaluated on demonstrated excellence in the areas of collaboration, commitment, innovation, leadership and learning in the advancement of the CEWD goals.

CEWD may honor more than one company to ensure organizations of different sizes are appropriately recognized for their actions.
