This event, to be held on October 21, will bring students and adults who want to lear more about Careers in Energy to CEEWD’s virtual platform for keynote presenters, a host of breakout sessions, discussion rooms, veterans’ groups, workforce systems, educators, consortia, and other stakeholders, we are expecting a strong showing for the industry’s first virtual career spotlight.

Intern Challenge
There’s just about one month left for summer interns from CEWD member companies to submit their videos fro CEWD’s Energize, Socialize, and Mobilize 2020 Intern Challenge. Videos, showcasing what interns love about the industry are due August 28th. Separate awards will be given fo entries from college and high school students.

Mark Your Calendar for CEWD’s Annual Workforce Summit
This year’s Annual Workforce Summit will take place virtually November 17-19. Our programming will include expanded educational offerings, keynote presentations, networking forums, a bit of social time, and a family-friendly trivia night. Almost two dozen concurrent sessions will be offered in the following tracks:
- Managing Workforce Development and Workforce Planning
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Training and Skill Development for Our Future Workforce
- Workforce Development Outside the HR Suite
- Staying One Step Ahead of the Changing Workplace Culture
