The talent demand in our industry is growing – and so too is our collective work to elevate the many opportunities available for career seekers, students, veterans and everyone in between. We all continue to foster important conversations on the benefits of working in energy and the Center for Energy Workforce Development is excited to help you amplify the message during Careers in Energy Week.
We’ve developed a toolkit complete with a suite of materials to supplement your own plans to celebrate Careers in Energy Week. Assets are linked within the toolkit here and outlined below for your consideration and use.
- Coloring Book: An energy-inspired coloring book for students to color their world. Great for those of you who regularly communicate with student influencers in your communities.
- Buzzfeed-style Quiz: This activity will have career seekers finding their ideal path.
- Career and Audience Flyers and Videos: Assets aimed at students, educators, and veterans in addition to materials that highlight various industry sectors. CEWD members will find more in our Members Only Portal.
- Spanish Materials: Industry informational materials great for reaching Hispanic communities.
- BINGO Card: B-I-N-G-O? More like E-N-E-R-G-Y! This activity offers career seekers a chance to check off their experiences, skills and interests to explore a future in the industry.
- Energy Ad Libs: Career seekers can test their industry knowledge with a fun game, inspiring them to take a second look at finding a long-term career.
- Spotify Playlist: We’ve updated our energy-inspired playlist that spans genres, generations and music tastes for all to enjoy. Listeners can play via Spotify directly or download songs from the link. You can also find by searching “The Energy Zone” in the Playlist filter.
- Get Into Energy Live Chat: We will again host a chat on GetIntoEnergy.org, inviting students and career seekers to speak with real industry professionals about working in energy. Last year’s chat generated quality discussions and helped us build relationships with new people interested in wanted to learn more.
- Careers in Energy Week Social Media Copy and Graphics: A collection of sample posts, including a template content calendar, specific to the milestone.
- Evergreen Social Media Graphics: Content if you’re looking to promote the energy industry as a whole.
