Workforce Development Primer
CEWD’s new publication, a Workforce Development Primer for Energy Leaders: Understanding Workforce Development and Creating an Action Agenda for the Energy Sector, created in partnership with Accenture, provides a strategic overview of workforce development and suggests industry responses to the workforce development challenges before us.
National Energy Workforce Blueprint
CEWD released a National Energy Workforce Blueprint drawing upon hundreds of workforce development focused strategy conversations; engagement with and service on a variety of councils, committees, and boards; and significant stakeholder voices. CEWD shares this national sector strategy for attracting, training, and retaining individuals to lead the industry forward.

CEWD Releases EIF 2.0
To ensure the preparedness of a skilled, diverse energy workforce, the Center for Energy Workforce Development has released Energy Industry Fundamentals 2.0, a robust energy curriculum designed for learners in high school and beyond.
CEWD’s Board Approves Action To Increase Awareness of Energy Careers
With increasing concerns over the ability to attract a skilled, diverse energy workforce, CEWD’s Board of Directors recently approved the creation of Power Your Possibility, Fuel Your Future, a multi-year, muti-million-dollar career awareness campaign to familiarize career ready adults, students, and their influencers about the vast array of opportunities in the energy sector.
Workforce Policy Education
The Center for Energy Workforce Development encourages federal, regional, state, and local policies and practices that will enable the development of a skilled, diverse energy workforce. In addition to publishing suggestions meant to guide considerations to support the industry in development of the 21st Century energy workforce, CEWD is convening a group of energy professionals interested in staying up to date on workforce-policy related issues/news.
