Contractors
Contractors provide important services in the energy workforce ecosystem. Membership in CEWD is open to contractors who work in any of the following areas:
- Industrial engineering, development, construction, installation, maintenance, storage, safety, or service for renewable energy (including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, hydrogen, or related generation technologies, including for electric transportation)
- On site at a utility (electric or gas) or other energy service provider or directly on a utility transmission and distribution system such as system engineering, construction, operation and maintenance, equipment testing, refurbishment and repair, and customer service
- Off site for a utility or other energy service provider such as engineering modifications, component fabrication, equipment refurbishment, equipment manufacturing, and equipment testing
- Providing services to support energy efficiency

The contractor contribution schedule is as follows:
