CEWD Thanks the W.K. Kellogg Foundation

In May 2024, following the DE&I Forum, CEWD partnered with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to create an energy specific Expanding Equity cohort on tactically maturing DE&I strategies. In our inaugural cohort, 63 participants from 16 different companies enrolled in the Core Program. Participants collaborated for three months, working through ten areas of learning, including Skills-Based Hiring, Inclusion and Belonging, and Responsible Contracting, creating and implementing actionable DE&I strategies. We expect to kick off our second cohort in Spring 2025 immediately following the May DE&I Forum!

Thank you to all who participated and to the W.K. Kellogg Foundation for offering this incredible experience to CEWD and its business leaders.

Troops to Energy Jobs Site Sees Spike in Vet Engagement

The Veterans Registration Site has seen an increase in the number of veterans and service members uploading their resume and showing interest in the energy industry as a career choice.  We are seeing an average of 100 new registrants coming in each month.

If you already have access the database, you recently received a message about the upgrade to the system. This upgrade integrated the veterans database more effectively with its parent site, GetIntoEnergy.org, and will facilitate easier maintenance and security monitoring.

If you did not have previous access to the list of veterans but are interested in registering as a CEWD member with access to the veterans who register, please click here. You will be able to search for veterans by desired city and state, by skill and even military occupational specialty. If you would also like to receive the list of veterans who have registered in the old system (and you are a CEWD member), please send an email to Rosa Schmidt, at [email protected] and she will share that with you.
