The CEWD Forum Schedule Is Now Available!

The CEWD Forum, taking place May 13-14, offers two days of transformative programming for industry leaders who are focused on cultivating workplaces that mirror the vibrant communities they serve. This briefing will educate and inform Congressional leaders on the needs, opportunities, and challenges of the energy workforce. With today’s focus on reliable, diversified, and affordable energy supply and increased power needs, we will continue to see a rise in hiring demand. To ensure this new opportunity creates jobs and economic prosperity for America, the energy industry, policymakers, and Congressional leaders must work together to ensure workforce readiness for the golden age of America’s Energy Dominance. CEWD’s Workforce Policy Education Group’s 2025 Goals

The CEWD Workforce Policy Education Group convenes experts and peers to discuss energy and workforce policy priorities and educate those who influence policy, including workforce systems, political leaders at the local, state, and federal level, policy writers, and energy leaders, on the needs of the energy workforce to ensure a skilled, diverse workforce. Note: CEWD does not engage in any lobbying activities. The Group has identified 3 needle-moving goals for 2025:

  1. Inform and educate decision-makers on the workforce needs that are required to achieve the golden era of America’s energy dominance. 
  2. Promote the adoption of the Energy and Natural Resources Career Cluster and energy curriculum across Career and Technical Education programs in the United States.
  3. Effectuate Careers in Energy Week as a nationally recognized program.
