More than 1,500 people registered for EnergyCareers 2020 and more than 800 of them showed up during the live event. People continue to login to the virtual platform to connect with the sessions, information, and resources provided. Surveys are out to gather data to evaluate the program but early reports offer “two-thumbs up.”For instance, early results show, after attending EnergyCareers 2020, 73% of those surveyed are EXTREMELY likely and 13% are HIGHLY likely to consider a career in energy or recommend one to others. All exhibitors who have responded so far found participation to be beneficial for their companies.
You can still access the platform through October 28th; after that time, the sessions will be archived and made available in other ways.
Time to Plan for Gaps in the Energy Workforce Data Collection
In early 2021, CEWD will send out a request for information from member companies to support the development of the 2021 Gaps in the Energy Workforce Report. To ensure the validity of the data published, we need full industry-wide participation.
