Webinar Recording: Why and How To Take Action Now for Workforce Development Funding in Your State
Every four years State and Local Workforce Development Boards (WDBs) must submit plans outlining the operational and strategic elements of implementing workforce initiatives in their areas. As major infrastructure and energy related projects commence, collaboration and input from the energy industry will help WDBs expand talent pipelines and fill energy related jobs. The National Association of Workforce Boards presented how to best engage in the workforce planning process at local and state levels, while WDBs are crafting plans. Other industries are at the table making their needs known. The energy sector should do the same.
