I’ve never noticed how much my life revolves around energy and electricity until I joined the industry. Flipping on a switch, I now think about the amount of power and coordination it takes to build this system. Walking down the streets of the city, my family and I now have conversations about what work is being done and how it all ties together. In the past, we’d just walk past by it and think nothing of it. Everything I see that I can relate to substations or electricity is now a common hot topic of discussion!
