I am immensely proud to surpass 13 years at Nine Mile Point nuclear station this month. Being part of a facility that delivers reliable, carbon free power to our community gives me a strong sense of purpose and connection to the work we do every day.
What’s kept me energized all this time?
Continuous Learning: This job has a way of keeping you on your toes. I love that there is always a new thing to discover or a challenge to figure out because that pushes me to grow.
Solving the Puzzle: I have always been drawn to the problem-solving side of the work. I gain a sense of satisfaction in untangling a tough issue and finding the right solution.
The Team: Above all else, the people at Nine Mile Point have shaped my career and who I have become. I am lucky to work with talented, supportive colleagues who make even the hard days worthwhile.
