After a decade in the Army with deployments to Iraq and Kosovo, I experienced firsthand how critical reliable electricity can be. Whether powering base operations or medical equipment, access to energy often meant the difference between safety and uncertainty. That perspective stayed with me.

When I left the military, I began climbing and repairing wind turbines in Colorado. From there, I worked at a solar site in the California desert. Each job brought me closer to realizing that energy was more than just a career—it was a way to make a real difference in people’s lives. I returned to school to complete an engineering degree and went into research and development before joining my current utility.

Today I work on projects like battery systems, electric vehicles, and microgrids that provide clean and resilient power to communities across Colorado. I take a lot of pride in knowing the work I do helps build a stronger, more reliable grid for the place I call home.
