Over the four years I’ve spent at the R. E. Ginna Clean Energy Center, both in the Engineering and Operations departments, I’ve gotten to come to work and interface with some of the kindest, most intelligent individuals. It’s extremely fulfilling to come to work every day knowing my peers share the same goal of safely providing clean energy to our communities. Everyone I work with has made the commitment to protect each other, but also the health and safety of the public through the consistent and reliable operation of the plant. I have pride in knowing that when I come to work, I am upholding that commitment by monitoring plant systems to ensure their health, supporting plant staff through Employee Resource Group involvement, or by working towards obtaining my Senior Reactor Operator license.
