While a student at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, I completed two internships at a waste-to-energy facility. Following those, I was offered a career opportunity with the company, beginning my journey in operations before transitioning into maintenance. That path gave me the chance to travel and see how various facilities run across the industry. Now, as a Maintenance Manager in the same field, I look back on my time in healthcare and natural gas as valuable chapters, but it’s the people—the mentors and lifelong friends who stand out most. This industry is definitely a challenge, but it rewards hard work, and I’m incredibly proud to be in my current role and for the life the energy industry has helped me build for my family.
