Working at Constellation in the energy sector has been a transformative experience. Before joining, I had little exposure to clean energy or nuclear power, especially growing up in Baltimore City with limited resources. Constellation’s commitment to the local community is truly inspiring.
In 2024, I led the inaugural Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Takeover at Morgan State University, an in-person and virtual event connecting students nationwide to career opportunities in the energy industry. The event featured networking sessions, on-site interviews, and interactive booths hosted by Constellation and INROADS. We welcomed over 286 students, and two secured internships for Summer 2025.
Building on that success, the initiative expanded in 2025 into a full Roadshow series with events in both Maryland and Texas. I am proud to have coordinated logistics, outreach, and programming with a dedicated committee. Our initiatives include organizing leader and intern panel discussions, providing professional headshots, and building strong relationships with HBCU Connect to reach thousands of students. This work is deeply personal to me. I’m proud to help open doors for students from my hometown and beyond creating pathways to careers in clean energy and building a more inclusive future.
