As a Service Apprentice at PSEG, I’m proud of the work I do because it’s real, hands-on, and it matters. I’m part of a team that helps keep people safe and makes sure families have the energy they rely on every day. That’s something I don’t take lightly.
The energy industry has had a big impact on my life and my family. Having a stable career right out of high school gave me a clear path forward and peace of mind, knowing I can build something for my future while supporting the people around me.
What inspired me to join was honestly the opportunity. I attended PSEG Day at my school, connected with the team, and saw firsthand the kind of work they do. It opened my eyes to a career I hadn’t really considered before.
If I had advice for someone thinking about a career in energy, I’d say go for it. There are so many opportunities to learn, grow, and build a strong future, especially if you’re willing to work hard and stay curious.
The people I work with make a huge difference. My team is supportive, experienced, and always willing to teach, which motivates me to keep improving every day.
