Working in the Energy Industry is extremely rewarding. Think about it, all of modern society is based on having energy available 24/7, 365. I work in the Electric Transmission and Distribution industry. Everyone around you relies on and is using electricity all day, every day. I know the work I do is critical to keeping people safe, healthy, and happy. I know my community is counting on me and i love the challenge. It has been so rewarding to see the smiles on people’s faces when you can solve their problem or energize their new business. I have travelled the country, helping to restore power after thunderstorms and hurricanes. To see how genuinely grateful people are has always gave me so much pride and joy.
