State Energy Workforce Consortia are strategic partnerships between the energy industry, education, workforce systems, and community stakeholders who work together to define a state’s or region’s talent needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Consortia are currently active in approximately 20 states across the country, with more forming every year.

Each year, CEWD hosts a national meeting for consortia leaders prior to our annual Workforce Development Summit, creating opportunities to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.
